Ask Toolbar Help

Need help figuring out how to best use - or remove - our browser toolbar? Have no fear, help is just a click away.

I'm tired of seeing questions in certain categories. Can I filter those out?

Yes you can! While logged in to your account at www.ask.com, click "Settings" in the upper right corner of the page. Then click the "Personal Set." tab. Scroll down a little, and you'll see a list of all the categories we have; put a check in the box next to each category you do NOT want to see, and then click "Save changes" at the bottom.

When enabled, you won't see questions from those categories when browsing all Recent Questions. You'll still be able to see them if you go directly into that category, though.
